Le 7 mars 2025, service du soir, nouveau restaurant asiatique testé, chinois, dénommé SHAO, dans la ville de Le Creusot. Ma femme, ma fille, et moi, étions en balade dans le coin, nous revenions du parc du Morvan. Alors, pourquoi pas tester un restaurant sur la route? Bon, apparemment l'enseigne existe depuis 2002, et c'est même écrit en autocollant en grand sur la vitrine, et il y aurait "apparemment" deux autres restaurants SHAO dans d'autres villes. Pour se garer, pas de difficulté, coups de chance nous avions les places juste en face dans la rue. Sinon, nous avons aperçu un parking en contrebas. Quand nous sommes rentrés, j'ai été, dans un premier temps, déçu, comme je m'y attendais, ayant vu des photos avant d'arriver. Effectivement, comme je l'ai souvent cité dans d'autres avis sur les restaurants asiatiques que nous notons, une décoration asiatique de ce type de lieux coûte minimum 1 million d'euros à la création, et ici, et bien... vous ne voyagerez pas. Effectivement, accrocher quelques grigris au plafond et mettre 3 statues à l'entrée, cela ne fait pas tout. Quand je vais dans un restaurant asiatique, c'est aussi pour la beauté du lieu, le travail rigoureux des artistes venus parfois du bout du monde pour nous éblouir. Ici, j'avais l'impression d'être dans un Flunch... Qui plus est, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'espace, jusqu'à ce qu'une nouvelle pièce cachée s'ouvre ...mais sans fenêtre (malgré une belle déco murale). Sinon, niveau nourriture, OUF, tout est parfait (et petite pensée pour le rouleau de printemps dont la texture d'enrobage avec un effet gélatineux m'a beaucoup plu! du jamais vu!). Et bien entendu, un super service, du personnel souriant, aimable, drôle et à l'écoute (et qui n'est pas forcément asiatique!) De la nourriture très bien cuite, des plats variés et de qualité à comparer d'autres restaurants asiatiques, des sushis généreux et bons, un personnel au petit soin, tout cela nous a fait oublier le côté Flunch. Par contre, rumeur, il semblerait que les patrons aimeraient justement passer sur une nouvelle déco, et encore plus sobre ...oh non... ne supprimez pas l'un des points d'intérêt de vos sublimes restaurants!
